On every paid plan, sandbox compute is metered per second at market-rate prices — you only pay while a sandbox is running.
Sandbox compute is metered per second by the vCPU and memory you allocate, at the rates above. A small storage allotment is bundled on paid plans; storage beyond it is billed per GB-month.
You control it. Sandboxes can auto-stop after an idle timeout so you stop paying for compute, and an optional active-CPU billing mode charges only for real CPU time. Stopped sandboxes keep their state.
A seat unlocks the governance layer — SSO/RBAC, audit log, egress policies, projects and quotas — for that user. Usage is billed on top at the same per-second rates.
